1. What is a Wall Printer and how does it work ?
Wall Printer is a kind of inkjet printer, which uses 5 colors (CMYK+W) ink to print image directly on the wall and other vertical substrate.
2. What size of image can be printed?
The printing size of the image can be adjusted. The general maximum size of a single printing of our machine is 3.5x6m. If you have additional needs we can extend the width of the image.
3. What material can we print on ?
We use a very durable UV ink that hardens instantly under the integrated UV curing lamp and can be used on almost all material surfaces. Thus plaster, wallpaper, wood, brick, latex paint, stone, clinker, plastic, metal, glass, most tiles and many other materials can be printed without any problems.
4. How long does it take to print a painting?
The printing speed of the wall printer is 5~15 square meters per hour, depending on the quality of the printing and the resolution of the picture. Therefore, the printing time needs to be determined according to the actual situation.
5. Can Wall Printers print on uneven surface?
Yes, to a certain extent, There is a leveling system on the sprinkler controller that compensates for unevenness in the floor surface. In addition, a laser sensor is installed to detect the unevenness of the wall in real time, and constantly adjust the distance from the print head to the wall to keep it constant. Thus, the print head moves back and forth continuously and automatically according to the wall surface.
6. Can I remove the Wallprint?
Of course! On glass, you can use a ceramic hob scraper or razor blade. Otherwise, a print can always be repainted at any time. You can paint over them at any time – and reprint the spot again and again.
Only on wood must be sanded or – as with metal or concrete – sandblasting or glass bead blasting.
7. How resistant is the wallprint ink?
The ink holds its quality 3 – 6+ years outdoor and 12+ years indoor. It's also instantly sealed/dried and highly scratch proof
8.What formats can be used for printing?
You can print virtually any graphic, sketch, image, logo or text!
So AI, EPS, TIF, PNG, JPG, BMP files are generally no problem! Using "Photoshop" graphics software, you can quickly and easily prepare your pattern, then import it into our RIP printing software, set the size and position of the good print, and start printing
